For the last several years I have felt the need to find ways to share my experiences to help others in ministry. My thought is that if I am having to do something or I am struggling with some aspect of ministry, chances are so is someone else. My mission statement has become:
inspiring kids to imitate God
encouraging leaders to inspire kids
A few questions everyone in children's ministry should ask themselves:
If you answered yes to any of the above questions Ron can help. He has over 15 years of children’s ministry experience and is able to bring a unique perspective to your ministry. He has been a guest panelist on the Kidmin1124 radio program, and is the co-host of The Kid's Ministry Collective which is a radio program dedicated to encouraging and equipping those in children's ministry. You can find the archived podcasts on cmconnect.org or by clicking here.
Some of his experiences that could help you include:
Let Ron help you evaluate your current children’s ministry. He will help you identify your strengths and weakness, and help you come up with a plan to continue moving forward with your vision. Even if you don't have a vision yet, he can help.
Through phone calls, emails, and/or skype and texts, we will work together to identify your growth potential based on your area of need, strengths and weakness. We will figure out a plan of action that will take you from where you are to a place closer to where you would like to be. Some examples would be:
2 months (2 calls per month=total of 4 calls)
4 months (2 calls per month=total of 8 calls)
6 months (2 calls per month=total of 12 calls)
Some examples of onsite options are:
Training for you and/or your team
Observation of service time with follow up assessment
Interim children’s pastor
I highly recommend Ron Brooks as a children’s ministry consultant, trainer and coach. What excites me the most about Ron is not only does he have numerous years of experience in children’s ministry; He has a heart to see children experience God’s love. He doesn't teach from his head only, he teaches from his heart.
He also has a relentless passion to see parents equipped and trained to step into their God given spiritual leadership with their children. He understands the churches role and the family role from a Biblical perspective.

As a mom and a children's ministry volunteer, I am always looking for resources to utilize with my own family and pass on to the families I serve. Family devotions are one of my top searches. They are a wonderful way for families to connect and learn more about God together. FamilyTalk is a found treasure.--Wendy Douglas
A beautifully written devotional guide for families! I would recommend it to any parent who desires to guide his/her child towards a deeper love and understanding of God and His Word.--Sharon Jones

If you feel you could benefit from any of the above experiences, please don't hesitate to ask. I know I have often sat on the other side of the desk and wished I had someone to help. The good thing is, now you do have someone to help. Please don't let your financial situation hold you back. I promise you that we will find a way I can help that will stay within your budget. But I can't help if you don't contact me. I look forward to working with you.
